The Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) is a statutory levy board, funded by farmers, growers and others in the supply chain to help the industry succeed in a rapidly changing world.



The Agricultural Industries Confederation (AIC) is the agri-supply industry’s leading trade association.

The trade association represents many key sectors within the agri-supply industry – Animal Feed, Crop Protection & Agronomy, Fertilisers, Grain & Oilseed, and Seed. <br><br>

AIC works on behalf of its members by lobbying policymakers and stakeholders, delivering information, providing trade assurance schemes, and offering technical support.


Anaphylaxis UK

Anaphylaxis UK is the UK-wide charity operating solely for the growing numbers of people at risk of serious allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. While there’s no treatment or cure for anaphylaxis, this charity provides information, training and support for people living with serious allergies.


Their mission is to create a safer environment for everyone with allergies by working with and offering training for the food industry, schools, pre-schools, colleges, health professionals and others.


British Retail Consortium (BRC)

The trade association for UK retail businesses, aims to make a positive difference to the retail industry and the customers it serves, today and in the future.  BRC work with members to drive positive change and use our expertise and influence to create an economic and policy environment that enables retail businesses to thrive and consumers to benefit.


Codex Alimentarius

The Codex Alimentarius is a collection of internationally adopted food standards and related texts presented in a uniform manner. These food standards and related texts aim at protecting consumers’ health and ensuring fair practices in the food trade. The publication of the Codex Alimentarius is intended to guide and promote the elaboration and establishment of definitions and requirements for foods to assist in their harmonization and in doing so to facilitate international trade.

European Biodiesel Board (EBB)

The EBB is the association for companies producing biodiesel (HVO and FAME) in the EU.

It represents biodiesel producers using all feedstocks: food/feed crops, waste, residues, and other innovative biogenic materials. Biodiesel is used primarily as a substitute for fossil fuels in transport, but production forms part of a value chain generating co-products such as food, feed, biochemicals and biopolymers.

European Food Safety Agency (EFSA)

An agency of the European Union set up in 2002 to serve as an impartial source of scientific advice to risk managers and to communicate on risks associated with the food chain.  EFSA cooperate with interested parties to promote the coherence of EU scientific advice as well as provide the scientific basis for laws and regulations to protect European consumers from food-related risks – from farm to fork.


FOSFA International

FOSFA was founded on the principle of acting for the trade and being governed by the trade. This principle led to the formation of their Council which is supported by five specialist committees –Oilseeds, Oils & Fats, Contracts, Arbitrations & Appeals, and Technical.

The committees consist of members who represent all aspects of the supply chain, including producers and processors, shippers and dealers, traders, brokers and agents, superintendents, analysts, shipowners, and arbitrators.



Represents, defends and promotes the interests of the European compound feed and premix industry with the European Institutions, international bodies and stakeholders platforms.


Food Standards Agency (FSA)

The Food Standards Agency is the independent government department working to protect public health and consumers’ wider interests in relation to food in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.


Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA)

Gafta is an international trade association with over 1900 members in 100 countries. Their aim is to promote international trade in agricultural commodities, spices and general produce, and to protect our members’ interests worldwide.


National Edible Oil Distributors’ Association (NEODA)

NEODA was established in 1947 to represent the interests of edible oil and fat refiners, packers and distributors and to promote the highest standards of food safety, quality and service for the benefit of its members, their customers, and the general consumer. NEODA members account for over 80% of the UK distributor market.


National Farmers Union (NFU)

The NFU represents farmers and growers in Britain.  Its central objective is to promote successful and socially responsible agriculture and horticulture, while ensuring the long term viability of rural communities.


Red Tractor Assurance

A not-for-profit company that is the UK’s biggest farm and food assurance scheme. They develop standards based on science, evidence, best practice and legislation that cover animal welfare, food safety, traceability and environmental protection. Thousands of British farmers are accredited to Red Tractor standards, which form the basis of buying and sourcing specifications for major supermarkets, household brands and restaurant chains.


Round Table on Responsible Soy Association (RTRS)

The Round Table on Responsible Soy Association (RTRS) is a global non-profit organization founded in 2006 in Zurich, Switzerland, which promotes the growth of responsible soy production, trade and use through cooperation with relevant actors in the soybean value chain, from production to consumption.


Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)

We are a global, non-profit organisation with voluntary members. We are focused on bringing together stakeholders from across the palm oil supply chain to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil. The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), is working to transform the palm oil industry to make it sustainable.
